Humans have used divination of some sort since the dawn of time. The Celts used Ogham Runes, the Norse used the Elder Futhark, one of the oldest runic traditions. The Chinese used the I Ching. Cards have been used since before the 14th century. Humans have used everything imaginable for divination; seeds, sticks, stones, clouds, feathers, leaves. coins. You name it, and it has most likely at some time been used to “foresee” the future. The key to any divination is in understanding the symbols involved. These symbols imply something greater than just a surface meaning. They take our minds beyond normal realms to a place where we can often find meaning in our lives.
